For those of you who don’t know, I am back in Sweden for two months to see my family. I also have the opportunity to work parttime as a substitute teacher. Something which I’m very happy about. I’m happy about feeling happy, if that makes sense.
Anyway, I gave myself last week to land and getting back into routines a bit. It feels like that is everything I do these days; getting back into routines. But on the other hand, I have been traveling a lot lately. And I worked Monday to Thursday, and that took a lot of energy. When I came home, I usually couldn’t do much more than laying on the couch drinking coffee. But that’s absolutely ok.
As a substitute teacher, you either get booked in advance or you have to be stand-by in the morning. Ready to go when if they call you. This means a lot of uncertainty and being able to adapt to any new situation. That includes not being booked at all one day. Therefore I have written an alternative daily task list that I can work on those days. This makes me feel a little bit more in control of the situation.
Apart from that, I’m leaving the days quite open. There are the usual things that need to get done, like scanning and editing illustrations and updating the webshop. But I also have #the100dayproject still going, and dogsitting my sister’s dog on Saturday (fun!).
I decided to start tracking my daily movement also. The upward triangle stands for walking, something I need every day. The downward triangle stands for more strengthening exercises to build muscles. I aim to do this three times this week.
On Saturday we have a full moon in Scorpio. To prepare for this, I have watched this video by darling Barbara Goldsmith. I’ll probably be reflecting and journaling a lot this day.
I wish you all a good week, whatever you have planned. Let me know what you are up to – I’d love to connect ♥︎
